Its not uncommon for customers to bring me gifts at the end of their rental. We build relationships in a small amount of time but sometimes they are meaningful. .. people want to be heard and understood. They want to feel valued and receive empathy. Yesterday an elderly gentleman came in to see me at the end of his rental; it was hard to forget him, Im sure I never will. He and his wife were here for treatment at National Jewish hospital: Drs had found a problem with her lung& while they were diagnosing it they suggested emergency surgery. She came through surgery but would need to drive home rather than fly.. Thats where I entered the story. The gentleman was loving in regard to his wife--not batting an eye at the expense of a car one way from Denver to NY during peak season. She was worth much more. Her story and his love for her touched me so much that at the end of the interaction I couldnt help but tell him in going to pray for your wife and thank God for loving husbands like you. I never expected to see him again since it was a one way transaction and when he came back I was worried there was a problem. Quite the contrary; he was ecstatic to tell that his wifes lung condition miraculously improved 85% literally over night and they would fly out instead. He handed me a large bag from target and said Ive brought you a blanket as thanks for your kindness. God bless you. Touching right? What this man doesnt know is that my daughter has been complaining of cool nights and Ive been looking for new blankets of high quality and minimal bulk for her bed. ( Really I should have bought them long ago) this man was used by God for a small need and to make a big impact. It was so wonderful to tell my daughters this and to hear giggles about how great God is to us. .. in everything. Every day. There is no problem too big nor too small for Him to provide. He is so amazing. He pays attention to every detail. He listens all the time. .. not every want is granted the next day, But he provides every need every day. That man had no idea my situation. He doesnt know Aunna needed a new blanket. He did listen to God though, whether he knows it or not, and he was used to bless our lives and teach an important lesson to my daughters. ♡ I love my God and I love my customers ♡
