Its not very often we get on a soapbox and try to get folks to take direct action. But our mission is about things that matter, and this is one of them. The Internet you know and love is about to be parceled off to the highest bidders, with only scraps of bandwidth available for the startups and average bloggers. If that had happened before Upworthy had gotten started, there would very likely be no Upworthy. We find that deeply offensive, and we object.
