Its not yet 6 AM and Ive already been up for a couple hours-- still on Paris time I guess (nine hours ahead of us) where I woke up yesterday morning. While away I tried to keep up with news other than that of Flight 370-- including this piece by Nicholas Kristof I read last week on a new study that ranks nations success at improving/maintaining the quality of their citizens lives. Relevant I think, since it remains fashionable among members of the the Right to trash Euro-socialism and monger fear about it happening in this country. As the study illustrates, Tea Partyers might be surprised at what they found there if they actually visited some time.
