Its now been over 2 weeks since Alpine Challenge and in this time I have had plenty of time to recover well and reflect on the journey...for me its never about the end game but always about the lessons learnt along the way. This time last year I was back in the moonboot for the third time in 12 months - things can change pretty quick if you stay focused and committed to the things that are important to you. Im truly blessed to have so many amazing people in my life that inspire, support and lift me up...so many unique souls that form an amazing tapestry in my life and make me a more complete person. They have all helped to get me where I am today. I could not have asked for a better day of play in the Alps - these mountains hold a special place in my heart and I always feel a sense of strong connection when Im out there and flow comes very easy :) I want to thank my amazing crew on the day that I like to call the A Team: Olivia Ferraro Samantha Gash Mathieu Doré - they did an amazing job all day as did my unofficial crew Richelle Olsen (thank you) and Shane Hutton - you are a legend buddy.... Mat thanks once again for your pacing on the back half....you are an amazing friend and athlete buddy and you helped me push over the last 8 km when I had nothing left :) So many people to thank that have helped me along the journey: Sally Bonardi Adrian Bortignon Alex Bortignon Chantele Melchiori Tristan Melchiori Tegyn Angel Kellie Emmerson Ada Ferraro Andy DuBois Ross Kinsella Shaun Brewster Jo Jones Warren Tofts Tayebeh Alirezaee Jan Saunders Neil Kinder Jacinta ONeill Blake Hose Lucy Bartholomew Tony JacktheBear Mantz
