Its off to the Australian sleddog titles being hosted by Wild Dog Mushers. Up until yesterday I wasnt going to be able to attend due to racking up a huge vet bill for my little girl Jedda, who suddenly lost more than half her weight in 7 days. I took Jedda off to the vet the morning of the second day she wouldnt eat and having a high temperature. After a courageous fight with what turned out to be cancer. Jedda developed pnemonia and started showing signs of discomfort and pain, at this point I couldnt stand seeing such a amazing pup go this way and unfortunately it was time to make that hard decision to put her asleep, allowing this sweet little dog take the walk up the hallowed rainbow bridge. No matter what the result Im very confident Jeddas sister and brother will do her proud in our great sports national titles competing in the 2dog class, this will be these 2 awesome dogs first open race and their second only race having very successfully trained the house down, on our spectacular natural scrub trails on the Coorong.
