Its official. After 18 years of faithful and dedicated service, I have retired from Boy Scouts of America. I am deleting my Cub Scout , Boy Scout , District Commissioner ,and round table chair folders. Its been fun. But the recent changes in the core values, Beliefs and leadership has changed a little bit too much for me. I have nothing bad to say, its still a great program. Im going to allow my merit badge counselor certification to expire and do not plan to renew, please dont call and ask me to counsel anyone in your Troop. If Im on any of your charters, when you renew your charter, please do not add me and a committee member. Im done. Im going to put my uniform in a shadow box along with all of my knots, badges, and certificates. I have nothing bad to say. So please allow me to have my opinion just as I allow you to have your opinion
