Its official! And prayers to the universe requested once again please..because we have bought a house!!! Not our little dream cottage in Burpengary, but turns out it was in a potential flood zone so not such a dream after all..so we are officially moving to Kallangur (contract unconditional now!) and we havent sold our place. Parents are being amazing and doing bridging finance for us..banks wont as our financial situation is poor to say the verybleast. So we have to sell ASAP or things could get a little ugly. House has pretty much nothing I wanted in terms of layout, outdoor space etc. however it is not in a flood zone, not in a neighbourhood where I am afraid of stepping on a discarded needle, not surrounded by bogans playing loud heavy metal rock at 8am in the morning, not completely riddled with asbestos, and not requiring demolition. Which everything else in our orice range was. It is tiny, but sturdy, in a lovely little neighbourhood, and very close to Sophies school. And friends. And relatives. And does have a frangipani tree in the front yard! (And two very small but fruiting mangoes :) ) it also has a huge shed for a livng space for Frank. The only reason we can afford it (apart from obvious factor of help from parents) is because heaps of people would have been scared off by the fact that the bathroom has had bath and tiles ripped out and not replaced, the hallway is bare concrete with no floor coverings, the kitchen is practically unusable, the colour scheme is horrendous. Oh and my bed wont fit into the bedroom without taking the doors off the built in cupboard and replacing them with curtains lol. But luckily Frank is handy, and those things arent as much as an issue for us as they would be for others. But yeah..issue is needing to sell our house. I would normally have sold before attempting to buy, but with asophie starting school in five weeks, we needed to get moving.. Whatever you believe in..angel guides, manifesting, God, Mother Earth, the universe..makes no matter to me..if you can call in some help for us to sell our house at the price we want and within a month, wed be very grateful. Xx
