Its official....Blockbuster Video is closing the remaining 300 stores in the United States. To put that into perspective, in Blockbusters heyday, they had over 9,000 locations in the United States. Nine THOUSAND. Remember what Friday nights used to be like? Get off work, drive to the Blockbuster video and browse the New Releases videos so you could get the good movies before they were all gone....? What changed? The answer is obvious: theres just no need for people to leave the house to go get movies anymore. Guess what: theres also no reason to leave the house to make money, either. Think about that. If you dont have a business that pays you every month whether you leave the house or not....... ....youre using an old, broken model. Just like someone who needs to drive to a store and pull a video off a shelf in order to watch a movie.
