Its official. Im a blogger for Mother Earth News. After I built my Ecohut, my goal was to have my house in Mother, but no idea how to go about making that connection happen. Ive been a fan of Mother for many years, saved back issues for various articles and always have felt that Mother and its readers were on a great path for a more sustainable life, good food, home exaltation, and great country values. Heck, I even bought Suzy, my eco car because of an article I read in Mother. Ironically, for all that Facebook is and is not, it did connect me to one K.C. Compton, sister of a friend of 30 years, who just happens to be Senior Editor of Mother Earth News. The recent posts about my Drought Pods caught K.C.s eye and she asked me to consider blogging about the pods for Mother. Well.....super! Ive just submitted my introductory blog post, and from here on I will be able to share my ideas, experiments, thoughts and ongoing projects involving my Ecohut, sustainability, the Drought Pods and relevant subject matter. Im so excited. Be easy on me, as I am not a professional writer, but feel I can convey a compelling story spun around a photograph or two. I promise not to go on and on, but to be as concise as possible while still telling the story around the photograph. A photograph speaks a thousand words, so I will just try to make it relevant. All that I share will be based on my experiences, my ideas. No science, no research, no snopes, just my opinion. There are many opinions about how to grow tomatoes, mine among them, but one hopefully helpful to you. Here I go on another chapter of this thing called life! I will post a link as soon as the blog editor releases the page, probably after this long weekend.
