Its official Im a free agent! After over 8 years of planes, trains, automobiles, busses, shuttles, and time changes I have resigned from my Director role at NCR. Tomorrow is my last day. It has been a blast and the milestones are a part of me and always will be. I lead some of the greatest leaders in the business and was humbled to do so, spoke to people about trying things that scared them ... Often! was able to write a book and travel all over the country touring it and teaching it, and speaking life to it, took my first 1st class flight, had a couple emergency landings, gave my first keynote up on the big stage, learned what high taxes meant, found the least and worked on making them feel the greatest and so much more. I grew up and discovered the concept of servant leadership at Radiant Systems and then NCR. I have real friends from this journey that have supported me near and afar as I did life, so grateful for all of YOU! I will carry your support and ideas with me as I take this next journey. It was a huge decision to step back and evaluate what really mattered and how available I was to do the things that really matter? I could no longer choke down tears and board an airplane on my kids special days, or through their medical issues, there was a season when I had to and that season had past. It would now be to collect more shiny things vs. out of a true necessity. So now what am I going to do?! Well its a mixed bagged because I have things placed on my heart that are Im a few different areas. My first step will be my family! They are my first ministry and will feel my availability and access.. Im so blessed to be here for them more. Then, I will be much more active in wellness and helping people attain wellness. This is a deep passion and purpose for me. I am doing more to get equipped in this area. Finally, I will take all I have learned and have a small consulting firm to service the companies I have grown to love. It is called channel focused group and we will be operational by summer. I wont be working everyday, it will be a very balanced 20-25 hours a week vs. 60! Lol I love what I do too much to stop completely ...it was about balance not quiting. On Monday I will wake up in disbelief and probably feel a little strange but I am assured this is what I need to do. I feel so privileged and blessed to exercise this choice, and be supported by my husband and family. To new chapters :) thank you all for your love and support
