Its official! Saturday is Hamilton Huskies Baseball team Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS! Immediately following the game:) Bring a cooler/bucket with lots of ice, a camera, and a monetary donation. I know we are playing a game this Saturday at 9am and was thinking of how we can start this year off on a great note..and as always make it fun. With all the excitement with the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS, I figured it would be a great way to not only support a great foundation, but include our schools leaders...Our Boys who represent us on the Baseball Field! I am asking that all parents get involved first by attending the game on Saturday and by bringing a bucket or cooler of Ice for their boy! We as parents can film a short video challenging our boys to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge immediately after the game. We can then line the boys up and go one by one...(and get the coaches involved as well!) Here is the kicker...None of this really matters if we dont collect a small donation for each kid/parent that does it...So whatever donation each family can give would be amazing! We can then donate whatever is collected on behalf of the Hamilton Huskies Baseball team! And who knows...maybe get the video up on our school website!?!?!? heehee! We have a Hamilton Family that is affected by this. Sophomore Ryan Luse has a grandfather that has ALS. What a great way we can help to raise money to help with research and support those families affected.
