Its official: The Art In Bloom show at the Kittery Art Association Gallery is over. And, new art has been dropped off for the upcoming Slow Food show. That opens at 2:30 on Friday afternoon and runs until 5, when the Opening Reception kicks off and runs to 7 p.m. Come for the art, eat and drink the refreshments! Rumor is that the new show will be hung on Monday, and well be stopping in to shoot photos. Please check back for more. Oh, and tell your friends about that reception! Richard W. Moore will be one of the speakers and he will talk about his Twice-Seen Photography and his new book that utilizes it -- old and new photos shot from exactly the same place, 100 years apart -- called Monhegan Come Again. Naturally, this Maine island famous for drawing artists, is the main subject. If youre an artist, youll want to hear Richard . . . and maybe buy one of his books. Hell be out on the deck signing em!
