Its official, today was my last day at Chesapeake. I have enjoyed all I was able to learn from, the families, and the absolutely precious children I have gotten to work with. I have been blessed to recieve the opportunity to be a part of the Autism Outreach Program & Model with the Oklahoma Health Sciences as Education and Treatment Assistant. I will be working with infants and toddlers on the Autism Spectrum, seeing what methods work for them, & helping in the aide given to their families, in early intervention. The earlier we can identify the earlier we can help! :) I am SO excited yet SO nervous as this is another step closer to my dreams of bringing music intervention to special needs kids one day in my own studio. I have so much love and passion for this field. I am so eager to learn more & work alongside some of the best. I am honored & feel so blessed. God really amazes me, & Im still in shock that I was given this great chance! I am grateful for him. I will miss you guys, am grateful for the opportunity & YES plan on staying in contact for sure! Remember: Music does more than you think for your child, awaken their creativity! & Education=empowerment. Stay in touch CHK folk! Love to you:) Goodbyes are hard to say the least, but we will stay in touch. I ask that you please keep me in your prayers as I start this new journey. I am so excited, & nervous& excited & eager all over again! Haha! God is amazing, and knows exactly where he wants you. He is determined. :)
