Its official, we are now worse off under the Conservative government than when they came into office in 2010. In that time they have presided over the most severe barrage of cuts to public services, jobs and wage increases in the history of UK politics. When the banks crashed the British public ended up paying the price for the reckless stupidity and fathomless greed of a small handful of super rich people, who have been (and still are being) rewarded for failing at their jobs in the most catastrophic way possible. In the wake of George Osbornes bingo & beer budget, low end earners have been given nothing to help with the rise in living-costs and increased taxes. Its pretty obvious Camerons government has used the budget as a political playing chip to win over a particular set of votes - rather than trying to make changes that the majority of people could benefit from. (no surprises there). The truth is, you will work harder - for longer - for less money, so that a tiny handful of so-called elites can continue to get pay-rises year after year. No-one likes to think that someone is making a mug of them... Well folks, unless you are a high earner thats exactly whats happening to you under the Conservative government.
