Its officially Thursday Nov 20, and this sweet girl is 22 years old! Happy Birthday to our first of three beautiful daughters. Seriously, is she not beautiful....wow! I could go on and on about Coryn, but no words can say how much I LOVE her and how PROUD I am of her! I look at the beautiful young woman she is right now, and am amazed at what she has become. Oh folks, she is her daddys daughter and many things she has done the hard way. But this little girl has more courage and moxy then most folks I know. I remember driving her to the airport when she moved to North Carolina, I remember the child that left, and the young woman that returned. She is an incredible woman, who I love and respect. I will share with you, when she left some three years ago. They were trying times, Mrs Chef Bud and her had outgrown a teenager and mother relationship, and it was time. Yet today, no two people are closer then her and Mrs Chef Bud. I am so Thankful for their relationship, and amazed at what it once was. When Coryn left, the song American Honey was what I used for her ringtone on my phone. If that song came on, I could hardly get through it without tears, Steady as a preacher, FREE as a weed, couldnt wait to get going, but wasnt quite ready to leave I smile when I hear those lyrics now, because my daughter is a woman now. So Happy Birthday Birthday (at Chef Buds house, when its your birthday, your name becomes Birthday for that whole day. Good morning Birthday how was your day Birthday lol you get it) I am so Proud that you ARE your Daddys daughter, I am blessed and honored to be your Dad. And as you always tell me, I love you as much as there are stars in a Texas sky You my dear, are truly a part of my Good Life. See you in a bit for Christmas! Love you! Enjoy!
