Its often all too easy to look outside or abroad for inspiration and reference points, forgetting that whats actually closer to us is quite often all we need. Cutters Records recently put together a fantastic compilation of Melbourne only dance/electronic music aptly titled Oceans Apart featuring a swag of Australias best underground producers. To coincide with the release they shot and produced a mini documentary giving us a glimpse of the Melbourne scene and some of those that are leading the charge in our very own backyard.
