Its one of two places, Heaven or Hell forever. You cant earn eternal life (Heaven). Eternal life is a gift from God (Romans 6:23). That gift is received by faith ALONE in the gospel of Jesus Christ. No matter how good we live, we can never be good enough. To receive Gods gift of eternal life, we must trust fully in the merits of Jesus Christ alone. Religion tells us to do this or that, be a member of the church, get baptized, etc., to be able to go to Heaven. That is a lie!! Are you trusting the fact that you belong to a religion or that you are a good person to get you to Heaven?? Truly ask yourself...am I 100% sure that if I died right now I would not go to Hell? We can all be absolutely sure we are saved and on our way to Heaven... You must: -Acknowledge before God that you are a sinner and could not possibly save yourself from the penalty of sin. You must realize you need a savior. - You must believe in your heart that Jesus came to be your Savior, dying on a cross and shedding His blood to take upon Himself your sins, was buried and rose again 3 days later and is alive today in Heaven. -Pray to God and ask Him to save you. That is it!! The gospel is simple. We CANNOT rely on anything else except Christ and what He accomplished on our behalf. He paid it all! Salvation comes by Gods grace through faith alone. All we have to do is receive Gods free gift. Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Time is short, Jesus is coming. Dont take any chances. Make sure youre saved today!
