Its one thing to criticize ISIS and Hamas and the problems in the Middle East concerning what they do to each other (which is ugly but out of our hands), but its quite another to (rightly) criticize those who made what what is happening there not only possible, but probable. To go into a region of the world and wreck havoc for 75 years or more, create animosities, cause the destruction of secular and socialist and even nationalist powers, ethnically cleanse an entire group of people, and so much more.. then turn an accusatory finger at the victims for behaving badly in the end is not only immoral thinking, but intellectually dishonest. But this is what the USA and Israel have done to the Middle East since WWII and I only see the blaming of the victims who strike out at us or strike each other in despair rather than the blaming of the powers which made this so. I see the wringing of hand on what to do about the radical Islamist Frankenstein the US and Israel has unleashed (in a variety of ways), but never should the blame be placed on Dr. Frankenstein. And this is especially horrible because it is in OUR hands that things could be made better for these people but THAT is not in the interest of US Imperialism, Global Capitalism, or Zionist Politics. THAT is what is the saddest thing about this.
