Its only a week to go now until Happy Staffie Rescue dog Snoop, with his adopted patents Marc & Phillippa start their charity Coast to Coast trek to help raise money for Happy Staffie Rescue. Starting on Saturday 31st May the trio will embark on the ‘Coast to Coast’ made famous by Alfred Wainwright, starting from the shores of The Irish Sea in St Bees, taking us up through the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors before finally coming to a finish 192(ish) miles later on the shores of The North Sea at Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorkshire. The walk itself will (hopefully!!) take 2 weeks and will take us through some of the most beautiful yet remote and rugged terrain in England. We will be carrying all our belongings with us, even Snoop who has his own rucksack which holds his water, poo bags and doggy treats!
