Its painful to be @ your Alma Mater, the one your parents, yourself, your children & countless friends have loved & supported so dearly through the years..and hear of the state of the school now. Not all..but those few who bring shame on this school we love. Its sad, not only to hear it from former classmates & other student parents...but from those outside our doors. Those who have gone away to obtain advanced educations & returned to our roots because we wanted the best atmosphere in which our children could receive an education...those who commute 100 miles round trip just to remain here for the sake of Berry High School. Administrators, teachers, school officials are human & certainly not above making a mistake now & then. But at what point does the school recognize that there is a vast difference in isolated error & repeated offenses. I have bragged numerous times about the integrity, dedication & character of our small school & my desire to have my daughter learn these examples from the school officials with whom I intrust her in my absence. My disappointment is at an all time high. I trust that, with all of the numerous issues occurring, someone in a position of authority is taking notice & steps are being taken to rest the minds of numerous parent (I did mention numerous) before the beloved school that we have always known & put our faith in becomes a distant memory.
