Its possible to gain muscle without gaining extra fat - one of my favorite methods is to do 4-5 straight sets or supersets of 8-10 reps each. I try to keep the time under tension to 45 seconds to a minute per set, and the recovery to less than a minute between sets!! The slower tempo also keeps my mind engaged and focused on the specific muscle(s) I wish to target. I didnt say it was easy...I said it was possible :) train with purpose and train hard, yall!!!
