Its pretty incomplete (and how could it not be? Its an hour long video on a topic one could study for a decade and not memorize every nuance), but it is an excellent historical overview that makes a very clear and correct point: the teachings of Augustine and his intellectual progeny (from Luther and Calvin to Edwards and Spurgeon to Piper, Driscoll, and Westboro Baptist) are simply Manichaeism by a slightly alternate mechanism. And Manichaeism is not only not Christianity, but prior to and in the early days of the Roman states takeover of the church--at a time when Christians were in need of solidarity and persecuted as a matter of law--the Christian bishops so universally considered this set of teachings to be so incompatible with Christianity that they preferred distributing writings condemning it and explaining how wrong it is--writings that would earn them a trip to the cross or the bowels of a lion--rather than ally themselves with it. youtube/watch?v=mhLF-llpFX0
