Its rather odd...you dont usually see a lot of dragonflies around here (well, *I* dont), but theres a whole bunch of them zooming around above the walkway between my building and the next one over. Also hummingbirds, but thats understandable since my neighbor across the way has a feeder. But I dont understand the dragonflies. Dont get me wrong...theyre cool and all (one of the few varieties of insect that dont totally squick me out), but I dont understand why the sudden influx. Plus, arent they a sort of wetland kind of critter? I mean, they lay their eggs in water, right? Pretty damn dry around here! Ah well...another of lifes little miracles / mysteries! =)
