Its really hard to change the mindset of Pakistan Army; if the demoralized and defeated army of 1971 didnt learn how to stop and its General had the guts to hang the very man - perhaps the most popular politician in Pakistans history - who had restored the honour and prestige of the country, brought back 90,000 POWs, and got back over 5000 square miles of captured territory from India, and that too without surrendering Kashmir, it would really take a next level of democracy to actually put civilian rule in effect in Pakistan.
