Its sad that I have over 5000 people that claim to be my friend here on Facebook but not 1 has donated not one cent to help my family during this tragic time. If only you knew the pain my family is in not knowing how we are going to take care of these expenses. I see now that people are your friends on this joint to be in your business not help you with your business, given these tragic circumstances. If 100 of my so called Facebook friends and family donated just $1 that would help $.50, yet nothing has been done. I think its time to just take Fakebook out of my life. It pains my heart to truly find out who has your back when something tragic happens. FORT WORTH — A 28-year-old man has been jailed in connection with the fatal shooting Monday of a 23-year-old man who had been dating the daughter of the suspect’s girlfriend, police said. Walter Knight is accused of chasing down and shooting Chazmon Gipson, 23, in the head outside the Cambridge Court apartments in the 8100 block of Calmont Avenue Monday morning. Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman said Knight dates the mother of Gipson’s girlfriend. “There is a reported history of the suspect and victim not getting along,” Loughman said. Gipson and his girlfriend had apparently just returned home from a doughnut shop when they were confronted by Knight in the apartment complex parking lot, Loughman said. Police have said the victim tried to flee but the suspect chased him down. A neighbor said he heard four or five shots ring out and looked out to see a blue pickup leaving the scene. Officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head in the apartments’ courtyard. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Gipson’s mother, Desonya Gipson, said Knight and two others kicked in the door of her son’s apartment last year and “jumped” her son because of fights Gipson had with his girlfriend. According to the assault police report, Gipson told police that his girlfriend’s family beat and choked him. He refused an ambulance but Desonya Gipson said her son suffered a busted lip and swollen jaw in the alleged assault. No arrest was ever made, according to the police report. “I know that Chazmon was no angel because he did get into it with the girl, fights with the girl, but they both were still together every time,” Desonya Gipson said. “...Him and the girl keep getting into it but they keep getting back together.” star-telegram/2014/08/05/6020585/man-28-arrested-in-fatal-shooting.html memorialfundforchaz.mydagsite
