Its sad that I have to post something like this... ...but if you have a problem with 3rd Coast Cards...dont yell at the kid behind the counter..e talk to me. I am here 80 hours a week...52 weeks a year. If you are not comfortable talking to me direct...then email (support@3rdcoastcards). The last thing to do is yell at a 23 year old girl (or any of my staff for that matter). I incorrectly have a reputation of having a bad temper. My trusty staff of underpaids would disagree with this. They would probably say I am too silly vs. too mean. What I will do (and have done in the past) is protect my staff (and my business). Every single confrontation I have had in the 18 years I have been doing this has been either me protecting my staff...or protecting my business/rules. Other card shops may not have the strict set of rules we have which are: 1) Do NOT use bad language in front of kids or parents w/kids 2) Do NOT attempt to sell/buy cards from other customers. 3) Do NOT bring in outside food or drink. We are across from a school and we have had people try to sneak in booze. Booze within 500 ft of a school is a very bad idea. 4) Do NOT be a dbag to my staff (you can actually be one to me...but then again...Im a grown man). 5) Be a good loser/winner. Thats not a rule per se...but just kind of a good idea in life. 6) Dont cheat or steal...but thats kinda common sense. I am slowly weeding the proverbial garden here at the shop. Lately we have asked customers that cant follow those basic rules to seek other places to play. Today I nuked one who yelled at 2 of my employees (18 year old and a 23 year old girl) because they didnt treat him like a VIP customer. He thought (based on his $50 a week contribution)...that he deserved front of the line status. The bad news is that he is going to report me to the BBB AND leave bad online reviews because one of his cards had white showing on it. So theres that...
