Its sad that our society has been forged atop the basis of imperialism, conquest and subversion of free civilisations; the strong laying dominion over weak. The name Africa is not even "African" in a manner of speaking the continent was named after the Roman general Scipio Africanus who orchestrated the defeat of Hannibal Baka of Carthage, Germany named after the famed Roman general Germanicus, father to mad Roman Emperor Caligula the terrible, Great Britain named after General Hadrian Britanicus with London getting its name from a Roman bridge constructed in the area known as Londonium and the Americas deriving the name from a latter day Italian, explorer Amerigo Vespucci. There are many more instances but the bottom line is that its not just Africans who need to regain their identity.
