Its sad that people have to hold their breath when someone reports their breastfeeding photos and then breathe a sigh of relief when they dont get removed. That shouldnt even be something anyone should have to worry about. I sometimes wish those who report photos werent allowed to remain anonymous if only so I could ask them what they find so offensive about breastfeeding photos. Its not like its them in the photos so how does it impact their lives in any way? Guys usually dont turn down opportunities to see breasts and women have them so why would either one be offended by the sight of them on Facebook? It would actually be hypocritical for both groups to be offended. Since Facebook changed its policy regarding whats allowed to be shown in breastfeeding photos Ive hardly seen any mothers who have actually utilized it to its fullest extent. Its not like mothers are bombarding Facebook with breastfeeding nipple shots like some people naively believed they would once the policy changed. Most have stuck to posting what they did under the old policies. If the people sharing their photos dont mind people seeing whats on them why should someone else feel the need to censor what those people post for everyone just because they themselves dont want to see it? Im glad Facebook changed its policy regarding breastfeeding photos. I just wish people would take the hint and stop reporting them. Maybe thats asking or expecting too much.
