Its sad that so many people chose to take John Lennons words out of context, to promote hate and division. His message was always crystal clear to me. I also agree with everything he says in this video. His words are just as valid today as they were then, nearly 50 years ago. I believe there is a spiritual world as surely as there is a physical world, but I cant blindly follow any specific religion. I see evidence of intelligent design, and I find just as much evidence in the things that science can explain, as I do in the unexplainable. This belief I have, however, doesnt allow for golden thrones or gods that cause plagues because they are unhappy with us. We create our own hell on earth, or we accept life on earth as heaven, and live accordingly. I refuse to believe there is any truth or merit in a religion that calls for the killing of others. Mankind may continue to entertain myths and legends forever, but we cant allow these beliefs or belief systems to be such that war is caused by them. Our employees in Washington should strengthen laws that separate religion and government. The two have never worked well together.
