Its sad to think that people of the world say rest in peace to someone who didnt serve Jesus Christ, and will therefore spend eternity in hell. Where he spends eternity is not a matter of opinion, it is clearly spoken of in Gods word. Did this man, serve Jesus Christ? Did he keep Jesuss commands? Did he personally give testimony to Christ? Did he testify to Gods word every day? Did he turn from his sins and preach the narrow way to those around him? Well wishing someone when he dies, wont change their eternal fate. I know that this may offend many, but God doesnt want anyone to perish, and therefore you need to open your heart to the truth, and deal with the fact that the bible says, that the cross is an offense, until we come to it. The bible tells us that no one will enter Gods kingdom unless he does the will of the Father, and lives totally for Jesus Christ. People get sentimental, and say things like rest in peace - but they are deluded to think that anyone will enter the kingdom, without obeying Jesus Christ. Do you want to hear the truth, or do you want to believe a lie. If you want to believe a lie, then dont read what i am writing, and live out your life oblivious. But if you want to hear the truth, then read Gods Word, turn from the ways of this world, turn away from sin, and serve Jesus Christ. Thats the only way, you will rest in peace. There is not peace, says my God, for the wicked (those who dont obey Christ). God doesnt delight in the death of the wicked, and neither do I, but I am not going to get into eternity with someone asking me, why didnt you tell me the truth, so that I could escape the eternal fires of hell.
