Its sad what has happened recently. I pray for our officers. They have a hard job and the choices they have to make on the spot are sometimes not popular with everyone. They are there to protect the innocent and the guilty. That being said I also know there are those few who abuse their position and can harass those who have made mistakes and automatically classify someone as a criminal no matter how much that person tries to straighten out their life. Especially in a small town. Our officers are given the bad rap for the few who have abused their position. And it makes it hard on them as well as us, the citizens, to trust them to do the right thing. But like this officer said, tomorrow they will get up get dressed and head back out to put their lives on the line again.
