Its simple really, if they dont want the remote communities dismantled then they can stay - but do so with out putting their hands out for any further welfare. Why should taxpayers continue funding those who have absolutely no prospect of work when they live in such places? There are other issues. Kids arent getting the education they deserve, healthcare is incredibly difficult, domestic violence in some cases, neglect, abuse of children - Im not saying in all Aboriginal communities but we all know it is prevalent. Many of these communities are cut off, cant be accessed during the wet weather.
