Its so crazy how school activities are scheduled. Am I the only one who has more than one child? Jaeden had cheer practice after school until 4:30, Cam had football practice until about 5:30. Darrian had band until 6 but showchoir until 7:15 with a parent meeting at 6. He chose to do mostly showchoir since it was camp and band practiced all summer but he ran over to the band hall to join them on his showchoir break. I just dont understand why teachers dont collaborate w/each other on practices. Seems to me that if teachers kids were involved, theyd make sure practices and events didnt coincide. Im not asking for it to be easy but it would be nice if it wasnt THIS difficult. I know some parents limit one childs activities to one per year and I understand that but I dont want to damper my childrens talents. If theyre talented enough to be a part of several groups, I want to allow that but I definitely wish teachers would try to work with each other for those students who do it all.
