Its so easy to just vilify people and blame the rich, the greedy corporations or the wall street bankers. Doing so is far easier than taking the time to really look into how these problems occurred. When you have a villain, the solution is simple - work within the system to create more regulations to stop the villains from doing bad things. But what if the problem was the system itself? Thats a bit more complicated to solve and understand. What if the government was not allowed to dole out special favors to their buddies on wall street or the big banks? What if Federal Reserve was not allowed to lower interest rates, helping the banks make more money by making more loans, but punishing people who save their money or who take out loans at the worst possible time (they lowered rates because the economy was in the toilet)? What if they were not allowed to bail out huge banks, corporations and subsidize many different industries with taxpayer money? What if they were not allowed to print money from nothing, creating huge asset bubbles that only benefit the few? When you do not diagnose the problem correctly, sometimes you end up trying to solve it with the same medicine that made us so sick in the first place. What complete balls this man has, to be the sole voice of reason and try to talk some sense into these people who incorrectly see him as the source of the problem. Mr. Schiff, you sir have my utter and complete respect.
