Its so strange looking back at who I started 2014 with & who Im finishing it without. Ive lost some pretty important people this year, some I thought Id never lose in a millennium. But time, circumstance & other people can change even those we love the most. Its also worth a mention how someone I started off the year unsure about has become one of my closest friends & favourite people on earth. A lot has happened in the last 12 months; some good, some bad, some scary enough to change my outlook on life. But what I still know is this; I am lucky enough to be surrounded by people who love me & care about me. I have a family that, in recent months have taken massive chances & shown that sometimes sacrifices have to be made for things to be better in the end. I have a few close friends who, even on my worst days, have proved that they will stand by me & hold my hand, even from six hours away. I have a life to be proud of. I have a job, working for amazing people. A job that is going to help me see the world & do things Ive always dreamt of doing. I live in a place that rivals heaven for its perfection. I am healthy. I am safe. I am loved. Mostly Im just thankful that Ive got the people in my life I do. Crazy bunch of folks, I wouldnt know what to do without you. I guess this is my Happy New Year status. Why not get in a few days early? I wont bother tagging anyone because if youre one of the people Im talking about, you should know by now. Im wishing everyone out there in Facebook land a safe, fun, happy new year & I sincerely hope 2015 brings you nothing but good vibes & good things. ♡♡♡
