Its so sweet when something is coming together, with this new song I really feel like Im growing as a producer, as an artist - and it will pay off in the end. My sound is maturing, but its still my sound I remember when some people would tell me I should sound like this, or do that. I am happy that in the end I never comprised my artistic integrity, I dont have all the answers - I will make mistakes. When others told me to just settle I will never stop learning; and people turn away from me showing their true colors because they really dont want me to succeed it makes me work that much harder. Even though I am in the beginning stages of this EP; I am as much in love with the process as I was when I wrote each song. I believe in authenticity, real emotion, and truth even if it hurts and I feel that is what is most needed in pop. I enjoy writing feel good music, and music you can dance to, but I also want to show my depth, and my range - and sometimes life is not always pretty. Life can be hard, it can get lonely, it sometimes out of control but its better than the alternative so you might as well enjoy the ride - the good, and the bad; find the beauty in the journey. I want to take the time to thank every person in my life good & bad, whether you choose to remain a constant in my life, or just take a shit on it because in the end you have made me a stronger person because of it!
