Its taken the new Tasmanian Government only three days to break one of their election promises. Before the election they said they would meet with all sides when formulating their forestry policy. But this morning they confirmed they will be locking environmental groups out of the discussions about the future of Tasmanias forests. Logging industry groups, unions and environmental groups have slammed the new governments hardline stance, that is putting jobs at risk and jeopardising the future of Tasmanias majestic old growth forests.
