Its that time again guys and today Im on about smart snacking. Smart snacking is a crucial component of any active persons dietary regime. Regular snacks or mini meals offer you an opportunity to refuel and help muscles recover with much needed carbohydrates and proteins. Feeling for something sweet to get rid of the cravings for sugar? I know I struggle to replace it so i look at my fruits to get me through it! Id usually go for quick and simple! A few scoops of natural yogurt, a spoon of honey, half a cup of muesli and a LOADING of strawberries, blueberries, pineapple and grapes. It tastes great and your getting in some good nutrients and Vitamin C to fight away any colds this time of the year! You can also use this as a pre workout snack also!!! Enjoy guys! George D PT
