Its that time of morning again where I tell you what you can drink at tomorrows SATURDAY SESSIONS! As ever House Shack bring you the chilledest out house and hip hop possible; the perfect antidote to nights like tonight.... And of course I bring you the beer!! This week: Quilmes - Argentina - 4.8% - £2.00 A smooth crisp lager brewed using spring water from the Andes. Smooth with Patagonian hops. Leffe Blonde - Belgium - 6.5% - £2.50 Brewed to a monastic recipe, this is a strong fruity beer, with definite hints of banana. Vedett Extra White - Belgium - 5.3% - £2.50 An amazing light white beer. This is one of my all time favourites and brings you zesty citrus. A perfect starting beer, especially if beer isnt usually your drink. Krombacher - Germany - 4.8% - £2.50 The king of Pilsners, this is what all German beers aspire to be. Full bodied, smooth and refreshing. Estrella Inedit - Spain - 4.8% - £8.00 Returning again, the Inedit is a truly remarkable beer. Brewed to be enjoyed in a similar way to wine, it comes in a 750ml bottle, so share it between 3. Served in an ice bucket dont let the price put you off. This is incredibly special. Curious IPA - UK - 5.2% - £2.00 The Curious range is a special one. Brewed by wine makers it follows the strict procedures that vintners use to produce their wine. If you have never tried an ale of any sort this is perfect for you. Meantime Chocolate Porter - UK - 6.6% - £3.00 A strong dark beer, this is very much a finisher. It contains real chocolate, put in during the brewing process, and is a fine example of what a porter can be. Goose Island Honkers Ale - USA - 5.2% - £2.50 Brewed by the Goose Island brewery in the USofA this was first brought to the US as an imitation of English ale. Its a full flavoursome brew and one to work up to, or one for the already introduced. Savannah Dry Cider - South Africa - 5% - £2.00 A crisp, clear and light cider to suit those who like their cider with a bit of bite. Served in its bottle or over ice, if you like your ciders crisp and tasty this is certainly for you. Herrljunga Strawberry & Vanilla and Blackcurrant & Lime - Sweden - 4% - £2.50 Already a firm favourite with you guys, the Strawberry & Vanilla returns after last week out! Served over lots of ice and fruit. The beers and ciders are only ever served between 8pm and 1am on a Saturday, so if you fancy something different, fancy something special, but at the right price you need to be here. Be sociable and buy in a round and well even give you free gourmet nuts! Boardgames are also available (for a shoe - seriously. Stop you running off...) so you can sit, chill, gossip and relax in peace. The Saturday Sessions: for those who dont want to go out, but dont want to stay in.
