Its that time of the year, again! Yes, local and statewide primary elections are upon us. Following is my personal Voter Guide to real conservative, liberty loving, freedom preserving, Constitution protecting, Republican candidates. Please feel free to copy or share. Idaho State Offices: US Congress, District 2 - Bryan Smith Governor - Russ Fulcher Lt. Governor - Jim Chmelik Secretary of State - Lawrence Denney State Controller - Todd Hatfield Attorney General - Chris Troupis Supt. of Public Instruction - John Eynon Elmore County Local Races: State Senate, Legislative District 23 - Bert Brackett State Representative, Legislative District 23A - Rich Wills State Representative, Legislative District 23B - Pete Nielsen County Commissioner, District 1 - Courtney Ireland County Commissioner, District 2 - Wes Wooten Precinct Committeeman, Atlanta Precinct - Judith Lords Precinct Committeeman, Camas Precinct - Bunni Farnham Precinct Committeeman, Chattin Flats Precinct - Donna Bennett Precinct Committeeman, Glenns Ferry Precinct - Monty White Precinct Committeeman, Hammett Precinct - Christy Zito Precinct Committeeman, King Hill Precinct - John Walker Precinct Committeeman, Mayfield Precinct - Jolene Hobdey Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 2 - John Barrutia Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 4 - Jace Prow Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 5 - Jim Martin (write in, PLEASE!!!) Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 6 - Larry Heinen Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 7 - Larry Jewett Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 8 - Barry Peterson Precinct Committeeman, Precinct 9 - Chris Pentico I have met and spoken extensively to all of these candidates, most of whom I know personally. I also know most of their opponents. There is an attempt underway to take over our local Republican Central Committee (made up largely of our elected Precinct Committeemen) by a group of self-proclaimed democrats, atheists and liberals. Please do not think your conservative voice will not be heard or that your vote does not matter. Please stand up with those of us who are involved daily and be counted in holding on to our local, small town American values for our children and grandchildren. In our state offices, we are poised to bring in a complete new slate of real conservatives to the Capitol for the first time in some years. The recent trend toward bigger government & socialism must be stopped. Lets get out and make a difference! Remember to VOTE (in person or absentee) on MAY 20th! :-) :-) :-)
