Its that time of year again... that time to remind CHICAGOANS that there are 2 women singing in town with the name Solitaire. I was born with it, my parents were hippies and it is on my birth certificate. The other singer adopted it as her last name. Please CHICAGOANS.... know the difference. I just received another email from a disappointed fan who heard my recordings played on the local radio station and got confused and went out to hear the OTHER SOLITAIRE instead. Heres the irritated email I got Dear Miss Miles, my wife and I went out to hear your show a few weeks ago and we were SORELY DISAPPOINTED because the quality of your singing in person does not match the quality of your recordings Of course they went to see the OTHER SOLITAIRE, and not me, because I did not perform anywhere last month in Chicago because I am awaiting gall bladder surgery and am not able to perform right now. SO CHICAGOANS.... I think I should remind you AGAIN that there are TWO singers using the name SOLITAIRE. One who is ME, who has 4 albums released that get played on Chicago radio, and another, who is a red haired Chanteuse, who is not me and does not have any records that are being played on Chicago radio. PLEASE do not get confused again, and waste your time and money going to see the wrong singer. :)
