Its that time of year again to celebrate a holiday of collecting candy, dressing up as one creation, and having fun. We all would like to do so in the safest manner possible. Here are a few extras to think about during your journey on this holiday. *Check ALL candy. *Wear bright clothing or body markers to be seen easily after dark. *Keep children heavily supervised and NEVER out of your site. *Check your local listing for registered individuals... those numbers are increasing so please keep your eyes open !! *If you see something or someone suspicious, go the opposite direction and seek assistance as soon as possible. *Travel in groups especially after dark . *If the kids are going out on their own to trick or treat, give them a time limit, distance limit and a meeting place. *And finally, Now is not the time to leave cell phones behind. Please make sure your children have these things in mind and are very clear on it before they walk out the door so we can all enjoy Halloween safely.
