Its the c-o-n-s-c-i-o-u-s desire to N-O-T want to read/know certain things WHILE waving the flag and using the word hero as though it was the word tree or apple that offends and degrades the definition of the word patriotism in America. It also defines far too many me-heap-strong chest-thumping, saber-rattling, fist-pumping, flag waving ... neo cons (-et AL ... [sadly]). But, no matter how bombastically some little fellas S-H-O-U-T about what they know re:how the rest of the world sees America ... its nearly impossible to n-o-t see what some Americans have d-e-l-i-b-e-r-a-t-e-l-y and d-e-b-i-l-i-t-a-t-i-n-g-l-y CHOSEN to N-O-T see. Heres how some mental midgets might typically address the words that Ive just typed: 1. Call me a name. 2. Get others to bobble their heads WITH the attitude/name thats been aimed AT me. 3. COUNT the likes, and then suggest that the number of likes ... proves the point. [you see, boys and girls, MIGHT will n-e-v-er prove right! --but Facebook likes WILL :-) ] Of course, a thinking person MIGHT notice what was NOT addressed: the t-h-o-u--g-h-t-s. Attacking and/or slandering a p-e-r-s-o-n is not a response to the THOUGHTS or ideas expressed by that person. Is that theory a little bit TOO complicated for the easy-peasy thought titans? (-of course, how can one NOT see their point? --and, enjoy the ensuing fun) Yes -absolutely! --in some circles you c-a-n peddle the well-worn, but familiar and fun: YOU GOTZ COOTIES argument/rebuttal Then, all the little friends can have another round of high fiving elbow>
