Its the first day of Summer here today and its bushfire season so my tank is inspired by the regeneration that comes after the fires. As devastating as our bushfires can be many of our native plants have evolved to depend upon it. After a fire theres a rapid and heavy seed fall and a rush of new growth. We get a carpet of greenery and green shoots all up the trunks of the trees without the usual canopy of leaves above. Its a strange look and the stink of smoke seems to last forever but its a time of renewal. Ive called my tank Regrowth and added some Australian rainbow fish of course :)
