Its the last week to see faculty Theodora Skipitares latest puppet theater performance, The Chairs, at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. The New York Times critic Ken Jaworowski writes: Even when I wasn’t sure what I was seeing in “The Chairs,” I always liked what I saw. This “puppet theater response” to Eugene Ionesco’s absurdist play is by turns potent, perplexing, inspiring and weird. Consistently, though, it’s quite engaging to watch.
