Its the magnitude of insensitivity which would get someone fired at any other workplace, but at the ACC? No problem! NYC taxpayers are funding an institution which took in a stray cat who was unable to fully extend her foreleg due to nerve damage, and who probably needs to have that leg amputated.....so what was the very first adjective that came to mind? What was the very first thing they named her? CRYBABY. Mind you, they changed her name to GeeGee at some point, probably because they remember the public criticism they have come under for some of their other insensitive animal names, but the fact remains: If the ACC truly gave a damn about the animals in their care, the kind of sentiment that leads to an employee naming an injured cat Crybaby would not be tolerated.
