Its the man behind the dog who makes the dog .....Here is Hector was one of NFL quarterback Michael Vicks victims of cruelty as a fighting dog. The dogs were rescued and given a chance to live and Hector is now happy and living life to the fullest. He is a certified therapy dog. Biography I was one of the 51 pit bulls rescued from the Michael Vick dog fighting case. I was part of the group that went to BAD RAP out on the west coast. Initially I went to see about being a detection dog, but that wasnt for me. I bounced around between many fosters, which was cool with me since I got to see that many more things. Eventually, I ended up getting adopted by a couple in Minnesota. Theyre pretty cool, and I get to spend my days hanging out with my doggie pals Angus, Mindy Lou, and Scooby Snack. Im one of the lucky ones, and am enjoying my new life. Ive passed the Canine Good Citizen test twice, and became a Certified Therapy Dog to visit nursing homes and hospitals. Ive also gone to schools to help teach them how to act safely around dogs.
