Its the strangest thing. Were all so caught up in an image, every day. The notion of non-choice. The crazy feeling that we have no control over our reality. Yet you could walk away from your friends, your job and your family tomorrow, board a boat and end up a different person. Your reality would be utterly changed by one choice. So with this we have to understand, we are never disempowered, never without choice. Its only our attachment to what we convince ourselves is important that renders us choiceless and defenceless. Yet truly we cant control anything in our universe. Influence, yes, but never control. Adrift in a cosmic ocean. With this knowledge, we must at last realise with the balance of being totally out of control yet armed always with choice, it is there in that confluence our ultimate power and finally, freedom, reside. You can always make choices, and in a universe with no control, this is the greatest gift of all.
