Its time... Three years is a good run on Broadway. So maybe three years is a good run in publishing. Ive written my Photo Finish column for Rangefinder Magazine for three years and now its time for me to stop. I try to be honest about my photographic life and I wont stop now. I started writing this column under what I think are absolutely perfect conditions. I had total freedom to select any photographer I wanted in any genre I wanted. The Editor-in-Chief Jacqueline Tobin was always supportive and I thank her for that. I also want to thank publisher Lauren Wendle for all her support personally and professionally. The reason Im leaving is simply Ive done it long enough. I always wanted to have a monthly magazine column and now I have. Im at a point in my life and career (hell Ive always been like this) where I want to do new things and give it my all. I feel like I cant give Photo Finish 100% anymore. Not sure why, but its how I feel. Thank you to everyone thats followed it and thank you to all the photographers that have shared their work and time with me to put together each and every article. There would be NO photo magazines, NO photo galleries and NO photo collections in museums without the PHOTOGRAPHERS! The photographers are the ONLY reason anyone in the photo industry has a job. So that being said I want to thank the following PHOTOGRAPHERS that were featured in my column. Many are now my friends, how damn cool is that?
