Its time for Lady Justice to remove her blindfold, and face the mirror so that she would know how the toiling masses see her. She has been blindfolded all her life but her sense of smell is superb. With her nose, she can tell if a crime suspect is a rich guy or a poor guy. She also has this unbelievable and extraordinary ability to smell money, and that odor somehow drives her crazy. Our justice system is sick, and our court rules need to be re-examined and humanized. I state this in the context of the Maguindanao Massacre case. Five years of legal bull@#$ and beating around the bush because of these court rules mean justice delayed and therefore, justice denied. That is not right from whatever angle you look at it.
